Adventures are outdoor activities or trips created and led by Guides (Hosts)

Download the GuidED app from the App Store or Google Play and create a profile.

Yes, you may be both a Guide and a Traveler. The default setting after you’ve registered is for Travelers. To create a Guide profile, simply click “Become a Guide” when you enter the Home page & proceed to build your Guiding Profile.

You can book adventures on our Mobile App available on both Apple & Android Devices. To use the GuidED App to book an Adventure, open the app, create a profile, and browse Adventures. Filter your results by location, date, activity, or keyword. Select an Adventure and continue through to select the date and book. You’ll be able to sign your waiver and pay securely in the app.

You must agree with local laws and regulations in participating in an Adventure, and each Traveler must sign a release and waiver of liability form. The Guide on the Adventure page will outline other requirements, such as fitness level and supplies.

Your payment will be securely processed when you book your adventure through the app. We use STRIPE to process all our payments. You may use VISA or MASTERCARD credit card. A portion of your payment will be donated directly to conservation efforts.

Using the app, you can message your Guide directly via their profile or through your upcoming Adventures page.

You must be 18 years of age to create a Traveler profile and book an Adventure. Some Adventures do allow children when accompanied by an adult. If it doesn’t specify in the Guides description of their Adventure is children are allowed, just send them a message and ask!

You will receive a notification confirming your booking as well as a confirmation email outlining the Adventure details and your payment receipt.

Yes, you can book an Adventure for multiple people. Choose the number of Traveler’s in the booking section during the booking process to include the rest of your party on your booking. Each person must sign a release and waiver of liability form, which we will email to them using the email addresses you provide. Email addresses MUST be provided at the time of the booking.

Yes! GuidED relies on reviews from the outdoor adventure community. Once you complete your Adventure, you will be prompted to review your experience and rate your Guide.

That’s up to you! The price of the Adventure is designed to encompass the entirety of the experience.

Yes, anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult and will not be able to book an Adventure. The Guide should specify if persons under 18 are not permitted.

GuidED is a 1% for The Planet Company giving back to conservation with every booking. GuidED selects different Non-Profit Conservation organizations across Canada & U.S.A. and hopes to expand Globally. You can stay informed on whom we are donating to by signing up for emails from GuidED and by visiting the Discovery Hub right on the GuidED App.

Currently, GuidED selects the organizations that receive the donations. Still, we do rely on & welcome feedback from our outdoor adventure community for suggestions of worthy causes, conservation organizations & non-profits that are important to you. You can initiate the cancellation process right through the app. Simply select the Cancellations & Refunds button on your booking and follow the steps. Please refer to our Cancellation Policy for more details.

There are some circumstances that a Guide may have to cancel your Adventures, such as weather or safety concerns, Covid restrictions, and other exceptional circumstances that could occur causing the Guide to cancel. You will receive a full refund if a Guide cancels your Adventure. The Guide will do its best to reschedule if possible. If for some reason, the Guide does not have a good reason for the cancellation, the Guide is subject to penalties which include service fees, automatic rating from GuidED stating the cancellation, will be unable to re-book that date. If this happens three times, the Guide is subject to being removed from the GuidED App details.

GuidED Guides make every effort to continue, as scheduled, with Adventures. If weather creates an unsafe or uncomfortable scenario for Travelers, this may result in a change or cancellation of your Adventure. If an Adventure is cancelled, we will contact your Guide to process a refund

Safety is our top priority. If someone is injured or requires medical attention during an Adventure, take your group to a safe place, contact local emergency services immediately, and report the incident to us once safety concerns have been addressed.

If you have forgotten your password, you can request a reset when trying to login. Select the option ‘Forgot your password?’ to get a reset link.

You can deactivate your Guided account at any time, as long as you do not have any activities booked as a Guide or as a Traveler. If you’re a Guide please email [email protected] to request that your account be deleted. If you are a Traveller, please email [email protected] to request that you account be deleted.

Travellers and Guides rate each other based on each Adventure completed, and an average rating is generated for both profiles, as well as for the Adventure. You will be prompted to review once your Adventure is complete.

If a Guide or Traveler is being inappropriate with you or making you feel unsafe, please report it to us immediately at [email protected] so we can review the situation and take any necessary action.

Only we can see your private information. Any information published in your Guide Profile and Adventures sections are public. Traveller’s profiles are only visible to the Guides with whom they have booked.
